“We are honored to be recognized as a Best Workplace in Technology and excited to keep building a world-class experience for our team members around the world to do the best work of their lives.”

- Anita Grantham, chief people officer at Pluralsight

At Pluralsight we don’t let fear, egos or drama distract us from our mission. We’re adults, and we treat each other that way. We have the autonomy to do our jobs, transparency to eliminate office politics and trust each other to do the right thing. We thrive in an environment with creativity around every corner, challenges that keep us on our toes, and peers who inspire us to be the best we can be. We bring different viewpoints, backgrounds, and experiences, and united by our mission, we are one.

We are the technology skills platform for tech professionals

Our technology skills platform helps companies create life-changing products that better the lives of their customers. It empowers technologists to dream big and do big. And this is what motivates us every day.

If you like what you see, come and join us. We have a lot of the fancy perks other tech companies have (and we can get into those later), but what’s more important is the things we don’t have, like office politics, egos and drama.

WORKING AT PLURALSIGHT MEANS BEING SURROUNDED BY SMART, PASSIONATE PEOPLE WHO INSPIRE US TO DO OUR BEST WORK.

We don’t let fear, egos or drama distract us from our mission to democratize technology skills.

We have the autonomy to do our jobs, transparency to eliminate office politics and we trust each other to do the right thing. Our teams thrive in an environment with creativity around every corner, challenges that keep us on our toes and peers who inspire us to do our best work.

Together, we bring different viewpoints, backgrounds and experiences, and united by our mission—we are one.

We Are Pluralsight

I have been working at Pluralsight full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have worked here for over 2 years, I have absolutely loved being a PS employee. I honestly feel that I have grown more in these past two years at Pluralsight than I have my whole professional career. Every manager that I have had, has invested in me. I feel that I have experienced working with some of the greatest mentors that I will ever work with. Anyone that knows PS knows that the benefits are incredible, so I won't waste your time boasting about those. Instead, I feel the best attributes of Pluralsight are its leaders and the autonomy that is given to their employees to do the best work of their lives. I understand that is a bold statement, I have heard people say it here often, but I absolutely believe that is the case for me. I'm doing the best work of my life here.

    Cons

No cons I plan on staying here for a long time.

    Advice to Management

Leadership is amazing here. I have been more inspired by them then any other leadership team I've ever worked for. I feel they care for their employees and are always looking for new benefits to enrich their employee's lives.

    Interview

Scheduled phone screen far out in the future. Pluralsight recruiters seem to be very disorganized and poor at communication like other reviewers mentioned. This is very surprising for a publicly traded company of 1000+ people. I've dealt with much higher quality recruiters at startup-sized organizations that hadn't been in business for nearly as long. Their recruiting process also moves very slowly like a glacier. I withdrew my application out of frustration in favor of higher quality job leads.

If you make that bad of an impression at the beginning of the process, what makes you think anyone is going to want to work for you? Get more organized and professional. At least know how to do basic scheduling for remote positions taking time zones into consideration. Most other companies nail that with ease. If you want people working in specific time zones, put that on the job req.
