Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

I applied online. I interviewed at Pluralsight (United States)

    Interview

Very smooth and quick process. Every person I spoke with was very friendly and kind. I applied online and about a week later was contacted to set up a phone interview with the recruiter. Next was a skills/personality assessment. After, a Zoom pair programming interview with 3 senior engineers. Finally, another Zoom behavioral interview with two PMs. They send you a lot of resources along the way to help you prep for the interviews. I genuinely felt like they wanted me to do well.
