Hey y’all, debating whether it’s worth it to move to PE. I’m at a large NA Bain office in the PE ring fence and entertaining the idea but don’t want to be completely miserable. My questions for you PE assocs out there: how many hours do you work per week? what’s the breakdown between time on/off a deal, and how do hours vary b/t the two? Do you have flexibility throughout the day (e.g., able to step out at points and log back on later)? How frequent is weekend work? Is PTO respected?
