Interview
Initial phone screen, then coding assessment, then "final" round with the team at DealerPolicy. Individual members of the team seemed to be uncomfortable whenever one of the managers would interrupt to ask me a question. Team appears to be small, yet have way too many managers proportional to the amount of actual devs, which is a huge red flag for me. Team members appeared to be very enthusiastic, but the managers immediately scrutinized any questions about work hours, OT, or WLB. Yikes!
My experience was negative, and I was going to decline if extended an offer, but like another Glassdoor reviewer, I was ghosted afterward and only heard back about a month later. It's possible this company tries to keep applicants in a "spin wait" to have their cake and eat it too with their position-filling. Personally, reader, I would avoid this company. It seems like a waste of time, and from what I experienced, their Glassdoor reviews seem to accurately reflect the culture.InterviewDesign a REST API with parameters related to drivers' insurance.
