I have been working at PoolCorp full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This overall training program really helps clear a direction for someone to follow if they want to be in this industry. Meeting new people who share similar mindset with you is great. The opportunities are endless with this company but you need to be willing to put in a lot of hard work and network your butt off to gain opportunities. I would recommend this program to new college grads or those who are looking for a career change!

    Cons

Some training weeks aren't as informative as others. At the beginning it is hard to understand your true place in the branch and needs to be properly informed to all the other workers.

    Advice to Management

Reschedule some of the training days. Leadership is important but not 2 weeks worth of class important. Split track week need to happen early on, operations get undertrained compared to BDRs. Upfront there needs to be more training for ops because after the program we are still scattered with knowledge while BDRs get another 6 months worth of training.
