I love my job. I get to work with a team of dedicated, intelligent and passionate people who like me, also love their job. My coworkers and I truly care about the work that we do in Energy Efficiency and we pride ourselves at being one of the best in the industry.
We were acquired by CLEAResult. This has provided more opportunity for advancement internally.
We were acquired by CLEAResult. The feel of the company is changing from a boulder start-up to more corporate. Since the company is in a time of rapid growth, the processes of the company are not well streamlined, but they are headed in that direction.
I applied online. The process took 6+ weeks. I interviewed at Populus (Bellevue, WA) in July 2015.
Applied through LinkedIn for a role. Was contacted right away be a recruiter. Had a lightweight phone interview. Since the role was for a contract job at Microsoft, I was put through the MS system and then waited to hear if they wanted to interview me. I had to follow up several times with Populus before they would connect me to MS. Had positive feedback on interview with MS and then waited again. Had to follow up several times with Populus again to get them to contact MS for status. Overall I felt like I had to chase them to get action.
contract negotiations are always like used car salesmen. they have a set rate from the company for contractor positions and they don't disclose how close to that base rate they are offering you the job.
