Post University – Why Work For Us?

A lot has changed since Post was founded in 1890. Then, our classrooms were filled with typewriters. Today, our classrooms are filled with laptop computers and smartphones, and reach far beyond our traditional campus—to airplane seats and kitchen tables, living room sofas and home offices.

Our ability to adapt and change is driven by one thing: our students. That’s why, when students wanted more flexible learning options, we became a pioneer in online and hybrid education. Today, we offer high quality education and exceptional student support services, no matter how you earn your degree. You can live and learn on our traditional New England campus and experience our dynamic culture and tight-knit community. You can also learn completely online, or in an evening and weekend format. However you choose to learn, you’ll have guidance every step of the way.

When it became clear that in order to compete in today’s world students needed to step out of the text and into the real world, we gathered together a group of scholar-practitioners with advanced degrees and years of real-world experience, so our students learn from true experts in their fields. We also expanded our Career Services office, and even added a career and self-awareness program to help our undergraduate students learn more about themselves and the careers available to them. When our traditional college students demanded an even richer on-campus experience, we added new student activities and athletic programs, renovated our residence halls, and created an even more welcoming home away from home in the hills of Waterbury, Connecticut.

Whether you choose to attend our Waterbury campus, or enroll in an undergraduate or graduate accelerated degree program through the Online Education Institute of Post University, we’ll be here to help you achieve your goals.

Our mission is to provide students with the knowledge, personal skills and experiences required to become leaders in their chosen careers. We prepare students to become confident, competent, and competitive participants in the global marketplace.

We don’t just share office space at Post University. We share a commitment to quality, excellence and success through education. We are passionate about improving education and changing lives. That common drive is something that makes working at Post University more than just a job.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Post University (Waterbury, CT) in November 2016.

    Interview

I have been working for Post University for over a year now and I have never felt more at home! When I first applied they called me for an interview and then I was interviewed by an Assistant Director in Admissions. When you work for Post - You are joining a team! A family! They go above and beyond to make each employee feel comfortable and they train their employees very well! Have you ever wanted a career in which you wake up every morning excited to go to work? A place that is full of fun, loving and caring co-workers that become great friends? Post is that place!
