Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

    Had two great interviews and was asked to send times for two 60-minute interview blocks the following week. I responded one day after the email and was told I was too slow in my response and they were moving forward with other candidates. Apparently taking a day to find two hours of time on my calendar was too long.

    Simple conversation. They mostly talked about themselves and didn't ask many questions to me as the candidate.

The Instapage team in San Francisco said goodbye to our current headquarters and hello to a bigger and better space down the road. Our new digs will help us grow and expand over the next few years as we work do deliver even more value to our customers.
