Diversity & Inclusion at Power Construction

Diversity Programs & Initiatives

At Power, “Diversity” is much more than just a corporate buzzword. We know that a diverse workplace – both in our offices and on our job sites – isn’t magically created by saying “we care.”

It’s something we actively and intentionally work to achieve through hiring, community outreach, education, and creating a culture of inclusion for people of all backgrounds. Our commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity is inspired by a genuine belief that bringing different perspectives together makes for stronger outcomes.

As an influential company in the 21st century, we have the responsibility to inspire progress towards equity and inclusion. Although there’s no finish line

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Power Construction (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2022

When I was interviewed, the HR Generalist asked me to walk her through my resume and give a more in-depth explanation of my Educational and Work experience. She then asked me general questions about how I stay organized, how I reacted in certain situations, why I wanted to work for Power. Then she opened the floor for me to ask any questions I had in mind.

How do you keep yourself organized? What are some resources you use to keep yourself organized?
