I worked at Power Construction (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone on my project and that I meet in the company was great. They offer a lot of training and educational programs for you to learn about your projects and programs used everyday. All the senior staff is great and fun to hangout with.

    Cons

If you don't centrally locate your house you could be traveling a distance to get to your project. Not always will you be lucky enough to be on a project location right by your home unless you have gained seniority with in the company. Additionally, Power Construction only does work in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. If you go and work for them know that you want a career in Chicago and nowhere else.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the culture!

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Power Construction.

    Interview

It was a very casual process. I had a phone interview with two separate executives within the company. The interview itself went smoothly overall without many trying questions. A couple days later I received a call and got the position. Overall I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process. At no point did I feel pressured.
