I have been working at PowerDMS full-time (More than a year)
Everyone on the build team at PowerDMS is passionate about their craft and cares deeply about delivering a great product for our users. The benefits package is great and so are the in-office perks but the people here are the best part of working at PowerDMS.
As with any digital product, the list of desired features and enhancements is always bigger than what can fit on a road map. The teams are lean and priorities shift fairly often, which can sometimes seem chaotic. Leadership positions are also currently in flux, but the recent hires and promotions promise to fill some of the current gaps.
Advice to Management
Maintaining culture and employee fulfillment is more than just fun activities and perks. Encourage personal growth and keep looking for opportunities to promote the best collaborators into leadership positions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at PowerDMS (Orlando, FL) in October 2017.
Brief HR screening on phone, 1 hour technical on phone, take-home coding assignment, technical on-site with a panel, and a couple cultural round with one or more executives/leaders. The whole process took just a bit over a month. It could be faster if I didn't space them out too far apart.
Everyone was really friendly and responsive. The interviews themselves were nothing crazy. You'll be fine as long as you prepare for it.
