I worked at Prairie Farms Dairy part-time (More than 5 years)
Hires college students to help with school costs. Great pay and very understanding of what hours and days you are able to work within reason.
Part time excluded from holiday pay and benefits
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Prairie Farms Dairy.
The company had just moved its headquarters to the area and I was excited about the opportunity to join the company. Unfortunately the job description was bloated and inaccurate in describing the role. The person conducting the interview seemed standoffish, uninterested in me or talking about the company and it’s recent move. Then I seemed to be “put on the spot” about procedures around PF standards of operations - things anyone can be shown and taught on the job. I am a senior director with 20 years experience but I left this meeting feeling stupid, misled and a bit insulted. To make matters worse, I followed up in a few weeks and was told I was still being considered, but after that - nothing. They lacked the professional courtesy or were too lazy to at least tell me they went with someone else and ignored me.
