Friendly environment, helpful coworkers, opportunities for company mobility and promotions many company activities and learning opportunities through company website and classes.
Not always very encouraging, sometimes more concerned with receiving credit for work instead of creating a better product, rarely engaging, tends toward either assigning tasks you are not qualified for or tasks you are overqualified for.
Advice to Management
Focus on employee recognition of success, allow employees to review their management or voice complaints more frequently and create an environment where employees feel like their work makes a difference and is important.
I applied online. I interviewed at Praxair.
Applied online. Received an email the next from the hiring manager and had phone interview the next week. A few weeks later I received a phone call asking me to come on site for an all day interview. The night before I went to dinner with another employee. I met with a total of 8 currently employees, mostly line engineers.
