I have been working at Presidio Components as an intern (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The senior engineers/management are some of the most pleasant people I've ever worked with. All engineers of all levels are very approachable. Very laid back environment and unbelievably flexible when it comes to scheduling work around classes. They are a family owned company that still does all of their manufacturing atheir plant in San Diego. and have purchased and expanded into several more adjacent office buildings because of increasing business---something unheard of these days, especially in California.

    Cons

Some of the tasks during my first year were a little boring, but after some time I became involved with more exciting projects. The hourly pay is significantly lower than most engineering internships, but they do have a monthly bonus system that is based on the overall company sales and hours worked which makes up for the hourly some months.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing!
