I worked at Priority One Medical Transport as a contractor (Less than a year)
People were nice, doctors were extremely helpful and patient during training. Hands on training and experience. Diverse atmosphere, very busy
Long hours, no benefits, rural area
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Priority One Medical Transport (Modesto, CA) in February 2008.
Speak with hiring supervisor to get to know each other, which seems to last for HOURS. Then you take a skills test and go pee in a cup. If everything looks good then you are called back for a ride along. Prepare to do ALL the lifting and crap jobs. If they like your work ethic and patient contact then they hire you.
No negotiation, take it or leave it.
