ProKarma is proud to support organizations working to strengthen our communities. Our teams across the U.S., India and Argentina demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and passion for making a difference in the lives of others. Through individual giving, group volunteer efforts and corporate matching, we find new ways to contribute to the communities in which we live and work, as well as to people and causes in need of support.

We are proud to support the following organizations:

Devnar Foundation was established with four students in a rented room. Within a span of 17 years, the school has grown to the present stature with 350 students, housed in a three-storeyed building owned by the Foundation. This phenomenal growth is due to the undoubted ability and unflinching enthusiasm of the founder and his wife, the dedicated staff, many philanthropists and donors. Devnar School is now acclaimed as the best institution for the Visually Challenged in India with the students aspiring to reach great heights of achievement, hitherto thought impossible for such children.

Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

Salvation Army provides assistance to nearly 30 million Americans each year through the broadest array of social services that range from providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, outreach to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children. 82 cents of every dollar spent is used to support those services in 5,000 communities nationwide.

The Sunshine Pantry is a family-run nonprofit food pantry in Beaverton, Oregon. For more than 25 years the Sunshine Pantry has gathered food, clothing, household items, toys and toiletries to distribute to families in need in the community. Today the organization supplies food, clothing, toys and toiletries to 500 families per month.

DIYA -Light of Hope: DIYA is a 100% volunteer-based organization which was formed in ProKarma in 2010. ProKarma employees that participate in DIYA devote thousands of hours in helping the disabled, orphanages and old age homes. DIYA is self-financed by the employees and supported by the management of ProKarma.

Stanford Youth Solutions empowers youth and families to solve serious challenges that threaten their ability to stay together. The organization provides intensive, individualized programs that are proven effective for young people and families in difficult circumstances.

I have been working at ProKarma full-time (More than a year)

    - Little to no bureaucracy and very big aspirations
    - Family atmosphere (in Seattle at least – can’t speak to other offices) and a good focus on investing in relationships
    - Very adaptable – ProKarma sees market opportunities and they go for it.
    - ProKarma is willing to try new things while still maintaining their core competencies.

    - Things are moving fast – it puts stress on existing processes
    - I’d like to see even more investment in intellectual property. There is some – but I would like to see more

Anonymous Interview Candidate in San Francisco, CA

    Average Interview

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ProKarma (San Francisco, CA) in April 2017.

Received a call from the recruiting officer who promptly set up an interview directly with a VP. This was to be a technical interview to understand my technical abilities. They were nice enough to reschedule at the last minute on my request. The VP seemed to be quite knowledgeable and technically sound. The main problem with the interview was the level of questions being asked. For a Lead developer position, I was being asked all kinds of solution and enterprise architecture questions. There was no discussion about software development and leading a development team. There was a definite disconnect between the role being offered and the expected level of candidates technical abilities.
