I worked at Progressive Recruitment full-time

    Pros

Quick to find you if they need CV's.

    Cons

Poor communications. Callback requests are almost never followed-up, usual reason being "the requested person is in a meeting". This is definitely not the most professional recruiting agency. This agency behaves like an old-fashioned "CV shuffler".

    Advice to Management

Clean up your act and start behaving professionally and start adding value to your customers.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Progressive Recruitment (Manchester, England (UK)) in October 2016.

    Interview

There were 3 stages, I only reached the second.

The first stage was an easy simple telephone interview call which lasted no longer than 20 minutes. It was pretty much a simple screening call for them and yourself, allowing both to see if there was any compatibility.

The second stage was an F2F and much more competency based.

I assume the third stage would be something similar to Computer Futures which involved getting on the phones and calling candidates. Your ability to hold a conversation and generate leads would be monitored. You will also have to give a 10-15 minute presentation and follow up with some extra interview questions.

    Interview Questions

    • I was also asked how I would generate leads from a candidate's CV. I was also asked to provide examples of showing "commercial awareness" & a time where I was able to put across an idea and business proposition to a senior member in a work role and what methods I used.   Answer Question
