I worked at PromGirl full-time (Less than a year)
Hours are nice, Mon-Fri
It's a job
Customer service is not their main focus like they claim it to be. You will lie to customers and they encourage it. They encourage you to shame customers. (They actually have a wall of shame with customers pictures in the office). You are trained to assume all customers are lying when trying to return... they don't do exchanges. You are watched 24x7 with the many cameras they have throughout the office. I would never purchase from them. Return policy is horrible.
Just do the chats and life will be easy
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PromGirl (New York, NY) in December 2016.
I applied online and received an email about scheduling an interview. I then went ahead to the office. They were very nice. They spoke about themselves as a company and then asked the classic job interview questions. I was very nervous and thought they did not like me but I got an offer.
