We are an innovative company with the right solution both for today's healthcare challenges and for the future of healthcare delivery. We were among the first healthcare providers in the country to adopt an operating model, which we call Coordinated-Regional-Care (CRC), that prefigures the objectives of healthcare reform—to improve quality, reduce cost and enhance overall patient care.
We have locations throughout the U.S. with hospitals and medical groups in six states—Southern California, Texas, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New Jersey. This includes 20 hospitals with 3,790 licensed beds.
Above all, we are committed to quality in all aspects of healthcare delivery, including:

Through our Coordinated-Regional-Care (CRC) model, our medical groups work closely with our hospitals to provide highly coordinated, personalized care to our patients in Southern California, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and South Central Texas.
Based on enrollment, our combined medical groups are among the largest in Southern California, and have contracts with all of the major (non-Kaiser) health maintenance organizations (HMOs) operating in the region. We have 24 affiliated Independent Physician Associations (IPAs) in Southern California that are managed by two of our subsidiaries, Prospect Medical Systems and ProMed Health Care Administrators. These subsidiaries also manage several unaffiliated IPAs.
To provide for the health care services of enrolled plan members, the IPAs contract with medical groups, urgent care centers, medical laboratories, radiology centers and hospitals that are conveniently located across Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside Counties and in the Inland Empire.
In South Central Texas, Prospect Health Services Texas currently has a full network of primary care physicians and specialists. Contracted with Nix Health, Prospect’s San Antonio-based system, and Baptist Health System, it manages over 2,000 senior lives. Prospect Health Services Texas also offers multiple urgent care locations for its members.

The current American healthcare system is a confusing maze for many people. Too often, physicians and hospitals operate in silos and are at odds with health plans. Patients are left on their own to find specialists, schedule and keep appointments, and make important decisions about their care.
For people with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, obesity and COPD, navigating through the maze can be almost impossible. That is especially true when conditions are aggravated by mental illness.
The result is missed physician appointments, failure to follow prescription drug regimens, and an over-reliance on hospital emergency rooms for routine care. This is not only unhealthy for patients, it’s also very wasteful—and it drives up healthcare costs for everyone.
That’s why we developed our Coordinated-Regional-Care model. Instead of working in isolation, our physicians, affiliated medical groups and hospitals collaborate closely and in partnership with health plans to give our patients and their families highly coordinated, personalized care.
In 2018, 10 Prospect Medical hospitals were the recipients of the distinguished Healthgrades awards for clinical specialty care and patient safety. Many of the hospitals are in the top 5% and 10% in specialized care in the nation. Waterbury Hospital is the only Connecticut hospital named among America’s 100 Best for Coronary Intervention in 2018.

Advice to Management
Take a look around you. Not everything is as it seems.
I applied online. I interviewed at Prospect Medical Holdings in July 2017.
The corporate recruiter contacted me. I had an interview the following week. First person I interviewed was quick the second was an attorney who forgot about the interview and had no idea of the job I was applying for or what I would be doing.
They offered me the position I acccepted and gave my 2 week notice. I completed the drug test and application for background check.
On the last day of the 2 week notice I gave to my current employer they called to tell me they are rescinding the offer because the reference check and background check were not completed. Huh?
I know for a fact 2 of the 3 references were called and the third never received a call. As for the background check, I have no knowledge of what was not completed. I was never called for questions.
Don't work here !
