I applied online. I interviewed at Protective Life (New York, NY)

    Interview

The HR called without notice and fixed the timing for phone interview the next day with 2 people in the team back to back. The interview was completely concepts and approach based. They were good to talk to. The final interview was with senior leader. He grills and makes you feel small. He was constantly condescending. All this grilling for very very low compensation.

We're always proud to see when our people recognized within our communities, and we're especially excited to share that Alicja Foksińska, Lead IT Auditor for Protective, has been named a 2021 UAB Rising Star, which is a prestigious honor given to only five UAB alumni each year. Alicja is not only a Lead IT Auditor for Protective Life, but she is a course instructor in the University of Alabama at Birmingham - Collat School of Business, and she's in the Momentum Upward Class. Congratulations, Alicja!

Companies are only as strong as the people they employ — and organizations that support, empower and celebrate their employees are among the strongest. As more companies examine their policies around diversity and inclusion (D&I), it's important to understand why these terms are much more than checkboxes: they are pillars that support teams and offer a framework through which organizations can advance lasting change.
