Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

I have worked at a few healthcare start-ups and Protenus has by far been the best one. The company scales at a smart level and the higher ups at the company understand what it takes to lead an

Cons

Not a con, but we need to continue to keep team morale high during re-platforming as there are a lot of moving parts. Keep striving for greatness!

I applied online. I interviewed at Protenus (United States)

    Interview

Interview process was great. I started the interview with the Talent Manager who was prepared and had a great understanding of the company, business structure, and engineering department. He asked great interview questions and the interview felt more like a conversation than an official interview. You could tell he truly cares about the organization and making sure I felt the role was a good fit. The next interview was with the CTO and overall, felt good. After our initial call we felt the role wasn't exactly what I was looking for and decided to part ways. Overall, great interview experience with Protenus and I was grateful there was transparency on both sides to make sure this was a good fit. I'd happily interview with them in the future once something more aligned with my background comes up.
