I worked at Protocol Education part-time (More than 5 years)
I was with Protocol (Wimbledon branch) almost 5 years and worked add hoc while studied Uni. Had a great relationship with consultants - I was continously required by several schools - so that kept me and consultants happy! I've never had an issue with job offers. I worked in many great schools across London and if I wasn't happy for whatever reason, they were always helpful. Would fully recommend to work for them if you student. And if you work hard (not just going there; sit down and not participate with children, no school will want you back - believe me I experienced several agency TA's like this) you will be continuously re-booked.
Pay could be higher! It was around £65/day before tax. However, thats the same rate like anywhere else. Didnt like not paying holidays - they somehow included it in my pay rate - im not accountant, but they probably do it to somehow help themselfs when they do tax refund.
Advice to Management
Increase pay rates as you keep too much money from candidate bookings! And they get too little for jobs they do!
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Protocol Education (Bristol, England (UK)) in May 2015.
The interview took 1 hour, but it was in fact quite informative, nothing difficult. I was told what the agency does in terms of employing people and what you have to do. What we have to do is calling in every morning and check if there is some vacancy available.
