Mission: An international consulting firm providing Monitoring, Evaluation, Knowledge Management, Organizational Learning, and Technical Support solutions to clients in emerging markets and post-conflict environments.
QED was built 18 years ago on the premise that integrating monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and knowledge management and learning (KM&L) concepts together would better prepare development organizations to effectively establish program improvements. At the time, combining these two areas of practice was relatively new and had not easily been done before. Back in 1998, QED was at the forefront in driving this idea forward, and ensuring development organizations were aware of how these integrated solutions could allow for truly transformative impact. Today QED is a global leader, continuing to pioneer insights and integrated innovations in M&E, KM&L, performance and sustainable investing, and project delivery.
Are you interested in the nexus of evaluation, knowledge management, learning, and sustainable investing as it relates to the advancement of international development? Then we want YOU to join our team of development pioneers!
QED believes that collaboration, teamwork and integrity create the right environment for our people to deliver the best possible results for our clients. We are proud of what we do and always strive to do our best by consistently learning and improving.
QED seeks to benefit from diverse people and perspectives. We aim to attract and maintain a diverse employee base with a wide variety of individual characteristics, worldviews, and experiences in every part of our business.
Diverse and friendly staff. Hard work did not go unnoticed.
Business was not expanding at the time. Not a strong forward moving operation. Very stagnant. Positions were not stable.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at QED Group LLC (Washington, DC) in October 2016.
I was first interviewed by a recruiter, then I had several conversation with the technical manager who whom the position reports and then by the firm's CEO. After this I spoke again with the technical manager and finally with the recruiter again, who handled the salary and prepared the actual letter offer.
