Company Updates

  • It’s been another busy quarter around the halls of QTS! On July 19, 2019, QTS hosted the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony of our largest mega data center Ashburn- Broderick at 22271 Broderick Drive Sterling, VA 20166. Highlights of the event included speakers Buddy Rizer from the Economic Development Council, recognition of local arms forces and other charities honored through the dedication, beautiful music sung by Wintley Phipps, concluding with food truck lunch and tours with our employees and guests. Carrying the excitement into August, the Business Intelligence Group named QTS a winner of the Sustainability Leadership Award in the 2019 Sustainability Awards. We round out the summer and fall timeframe with our annual family events. Each year our CEO Chad Williams and his family as well as other QTS Executives travel to all of our sites to host events at sporting venues and theme parks across the US. It’s always a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our successes for the year, get outside together and just have fun!

  • It’s been a busy month at QTS! We started off with our Q1 Earnings Call, where we had the opportunity to hear from leaders on QTS’s performance and announced the acquisition of two data centers in the Netherlands! We then hosted our quarterly People Rally where QTSers and business leaders come together to discuss the latest news at QTS. This Rally we touched on overall company performance, sales momentum and progress against our key business initiatives, and also introduced our new website. Last week we hosted the Richmond NAP Summit, where leaders across the industry converged to discuss the newest subsea fiber cable—it was standing room only! This week, our newest QTSers traveled to Duluth, Georgia to complete their QTS Journey—our version of new hire orientation to the company.     HR Screen, brought on site to interview with hiring manager and VP of department. Timing was relatively quick to get me in front of someone to interview. Everything went well but ultimately didn't get an offer.
