I worked at Quadlogic Controls as an intern (Less than a year)
The company is small, which is easy to make connections.
The supervisor is energetic and motivated.
The working environment is a bit depressing.
I applied in-person. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Quadlogic Controls (New York, NY).
I applied online, then arrived in person for a cold-call first interview. Was invited back to spend two days at the office - this practice was repeated often, and is definitely nerve-wracking. I recommend emphasizing your interest in the product sector, as it is rather unique. Ask questions about the technology and business practices to indicate interest in learning new skills.
