    Recommends
    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Queensland State Government full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flixible work arrangements, competitive salary, ability to accrue hours as an addition to your annual leave and all other leave entitlements, paid maternity leave, usual day is 7.25 hours

    Cons

majority of the employees are temporary, very hard to get a permanent position, difficulty in progressing

    Advice to Management

Would be great if more permanent positions became availiable as job security promotes a healthy team culture.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Queensland State Government (Brisbane (Australia)) in December 2017.

    Interview

Submitted Resume and Cover letter online through smartjobs.qld.gov.au, got a phone call in 10 days about interview, went for an interview (length 30 minuts, plus 10 minutes perusal), got a phone call with a response that I got the job in 5 days.
The Interview itsel, had 3 questions, 10 minutes per each questions, they had a timer to make sure that you are on track.
