    Data Analytics Interview

Anonymous Employee in San Francisco, CA
    No Offer
    Negative Experience

Quest did not engage with me. They do not seems to understand both sides requirement but they just connect parties and hope it works out. More importantly, they use fancy tel numbers to show they are local and are active participants in this process - but they are far removed from what was going on.

Nothing much. I have had recruiters being in the interview and made sure it was a deal!

What qualities do companies look for in a candidate? As a recruiting firm, we have a unique insight into this question. Every company/startup has different requirements. Companies look at a candidate’s education & work background. In the startup community this information is essential. Employers need know you have the education & you know what you are doing. Along with a candidate’s work experience, they look at the longevity in each position & whether a candidate is familiar with the startup community. These firms also look at skillsets to see what extra skills a candidate has that can be of value to the company. Businesses take into consideration work ethic & how eager a person is to work with their product/service. They look at the company's work culture to see if it would be a good fit. A candidate must have excellent communication & be a team player. These are not all the qualities a company looks for, but they are the most important.
