Mission: Deliver solutions that make a difference and empower people.
I have been working at REI Systems full-time (Less than a year)
Amazing colleagues, great culture, real work-life balance, game room, basketball court, potlucks, a ton of company events and great employee events, bagels on Fridays at HQ, good leadership, great support, genuine people, a true agile company finally, strong transparent communication from leadership, everyone is very accessible and helpful. It is truely a real family.
real smart people work here...they might find out soon I'm not that smart :)
Compensation is below market but all the perks make up for it.
Advice to Management
please stay true to yourself and don't lower your standards. keep believing and investing in your people
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at REI Systems (Herndon, VA) in August 2011.
I got a call from the HR and she asked me why do you want to work for REI, my background, BA exp type questions. Later, after a week, a phone interview was scheduled which lasted for like an hour.. two weeks from then a 1:1 was scheduled. Waiting for the final result. I don't know if they are going to call me for the next round.
Overall, the interview was fun because the entire process was in the form of an exercise.. I enjoyed interviewing for REI Systems... though it is not a piece of cake, you would definitely learn a lot out of this interview experience.
