I have been working at Ranker full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Ranker gives a lot of opportunities and time to grow.
All the lead developers are very encouraging and very experienced.
CTO pays a lot of attention to employees.
Product team that listens to developers.
    Free food, drinks and bagels.
Happy hours are always in the best location of LA.

    Cons

No real cons so far, but if I had to say one thing is that the departments are kind of separated so I'm basically only rating the engineering department. Although everyone I met so far are great!

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ranker (Los Angeles, CA) in December 2017.

    Interview

3 levels. First was a phone screen combined w/tech questions and a 'doc' sent to you which you had to edit live (10ish questions, cold). Then onsite, with a paper with more tech questions -- meeting with the product head and cto. Final interview was with team -- no tech questions here.
