Commission without cap, ability to grow, take advantage of free classes, learn sales, 50% off products, Christmas perk where you can buy electronics and pay thru paycheck for a year
Benefits barely cover any medical expenses, compensation plan is subject to change every year, hard to keep steady paycheck, product sale quota that determines your commission instead of actual service dollars
Advice to Management
Hardworking salon leaders on commission should not be expected to do everything the salary leaders do as they still have to make a paycheck and can't lose clients either
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ratner Companies.
Phone interview was easy with the common questions like what kind of leader are you, how do you motivate your team, how do you teach and coach your team. A lot of behavioral questions. Started out with that this was a casual interview. The interviewer was not fully listening because when I spoke with that person again, they did not know several facts about me, which I discussed in the interview.
