Our team at RealtimeBoard has dedicated the past few years to creating a universal tool for visual collaboration in order to turn online whiteboards into something much greater than their physical counterparts.
Having talked to hundreds of the best teams from around the world, we collected valuable insights about their pain points. Great colleagues forming great teams building a transformational product all driven by it's culture. Even with 300% growth year over year they have done a fantastic job at ensuring that original core culture never waivers and continues to be the driving force behind every decision.
Its a trickle down effect from great leadership. And you can see this all the way down to the product itself. With such growth and opportunity its not always going to be pretty/easy, it can't be, but at the end of the day the culture grants everyone a voice resulting in true open collaboration so we can continue to adjust/improve together.
You'll want to work hard and put in the hours because you'll know it's worth it.
Advice to Management
Continue to ensure the hustle and teamwork mindset never waivers
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at RealtimeBoard in August 2018.
The hiring manager followed up with me <1 week after submitting an application with CV/cover letter. After a couple rounds of screener calls, I was given a homework assignment to demonstrate my proficiency in the skills/ processes needed to do the position effectively. I had 3 or 4 more interviews with team members and eventually the CMO and CEO. Overall, the process was transparent and fair, but engaging and at times challenging. Throughout the interview, I felt that the interviewers had put time and effort into the questions they were asking (I didn't receive any canned questions or encounter situations where multiple interviewers asked the same question).
