Lots of change in the last 18 months with mergers and acquisitions. This has led to stalling of rate increases.
Advice to Management
be more open and honest about whats happening with the bigger picture due to mergers. Employees hear alot of uncertainty about policy changes, benefits, pay rate increases etc.
Initial communication was via phone interview by the hiring manager. Also had a phone interview with Manager's peer and VP of HR. Followed by an in-person interview, then a thorough background check. Entire process took over 30 days.
