    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Red Rock (Melbourne (Australia)) in March 2017.

    Interview

Following a telephonic interview, a face to face interview was arranged. At the outset of this interview there was no time for building rapport with interviewers, I was presented with a scenario. Not given time to read through the scenario before being expected to respond to it. Role play was expected on a status report I was supposed to have written. An additional interviewer was present which I had not been informed about in advance so no time to research their interests. A key interviewer announced they had to leave early - disappointing given that I had flown down to Melbourne for the interview at my own cost. Strong probing on abilities to work with stakeholders and team members. Many questions on how to deal with 'whinging consultants'.
