Carol Stream, IL

The Carol Stream office environment is one of “work hard/play hard.” It is casual and fun, but that doesn’t mean we don’t push ourselves – it’s a high performance atmosphere. There’s nothing you’re asked to do that management wouldn’t be willing to do themselves. No shrinking violets here—if you can hold your own and work hard without micro-management, you’ll fit in. Also, ample parking.


Columbus, OH

The culture in Columbus centers on its team. There are no cubicles or barriers between the desks to encourage open communication. Personal goals are a team effort. Centrally located downtown, the Columbus branch is within short distance to popular neighborhoods including the Short North and German Village. Plus, it’s a lot of fun!


Dallas, TX

Our Dallas branch is located between Addison and Midtown right off the Dallas North Tollway with ample parking. One word describes our branch: team. Detroit, MI (Troy)

Redwood Michigan launched in November 2012; the second branch office of Redwood Multimodal.  The office is conveniently located in Troy just steps away from Somerset Mall and downtown Birmingham.  We mirror the fun and energetic atmosphere of Redwood’s Chicago headquarters, where on any given day an impromptu Golden Tee match or dart tournament could break out after a hardworking morning of exceeding our customers’ expectations.  Teamwork is paramount to our success and we work closely with each other to foster individual and branch growth day in and day out.  There is never a dull or boring day at Redwood Michigan!


Shreveport, LA

The Shreveport Branch is comprised of three industry experts (and growing!) with over 45 years combined experience working to establish Redwood as the leader in our sales region. Traditions are strong in Louisiana, and the tradition of winning is one that we enjoy for both our branch and the larger Redwood network.  Crazy good food, unforgettable fun, and the Fighting Tigers are major themes of our state, city, and branch culture. Southern California (Fontana)

Located in the heart of the Inland Empire, the SoCal office enjoys daily sunshine through our ceiling to floor windows and the notoriety of being Redwood’s first established Branch outside of Chicago. We truly take a SoCal attitude in everything we do, committed to working hard and doing layups to let off steam. Operating through an open floor plan helps guarantee that no opportunities are missed and communication stays flowing – we are proud of the open door policy Redwood promotes. Best part? The beach is only an hour away.

    I worked at Redwood Logistics (More than a year)


    It's an amazing environment to work in. There is a sense of family and very helpful environment. Managers are always available to help on the phones and coach you through obstacles. It's the kind of place the owner will invite you to a Blackhawks game or give you a direct message of the great effort you are putting in.


    It's an up tempo environment that isn't for everyone. I had no issues, only leaving to be closer to family, but if you don't enjoy an open and fast paced work environment, it may not be for you. There's also a lot of roles to juggle in a single position. So someone not who lacks time management and multitasking might want to look for a role elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

    Keep that constructive and always there for us environment going. We appreciate it.

    I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Redwood Logistics (Chicago, IL).


    I was extremely impressed with this interview process. I applied and was contacted by one of their recruiters. It began with a phone interview where the recruiter got to know me where we shared common interests and some of my previous work. She asked me why I chose my major and why I thought that it would help me in the sales world. Then we set up an interview that was best fit for the both of us. Next, the interview required me going into the office where I first met with a POD manager, basically in charge of a desired team in the work place. After talking to the POD manager, I was paired with two carrier sales reps. on the floor to show me the software and an example of your average phone call with someone. After shadowing some reps, I was fortunate enough to interview with the VP of carrier operations. This interview was great because after talking a little bit on my experience and schooling, I felt as if he actually wanted to get to know me and wanted to see the better side of me, where I strived in that area. At no time in the interview was a nervous or doubted myself, which was rare in previous interviews at other places. I had interviewed at other logistics firms, and I felt as if they were trying to trick me so I could slip up on something on my resume or information that I had disclosed to them, but not at Redwood.
