I have been working at Reed Exhibitions full-time (More than a year)
Reed Exhibitions is a great place to work in general! However, I recently got to participate in an RE Cares event, which brought my feelings about the company even higher. RE Cares allows employees to take time to volunteer at a number of foundations and give back to the community! I had the opportunity to volunteer at Kids in Crisis in Cos Cob, CT and it was such a great experience. They were truly grateful for the work that our group did that day.
These are not just one time deals either. Reed Exhibitions continues to support a number of organizations throughout the years! Not having this opportunity at previous employers, I feel very lucky to have the opportunity offered to me at Reed. I look forward to volunteering again!
From my experience, I do not have anything negative to say.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Reed Exhibitions (Norwalk, CT) in September 2017.
Since I wasn't a local candidate, HR kindly had me come in to meet several people at once instead of splitting it up into multiple separate-day interviews. I met with 3 different company employees in addition to the HR Director (2 other directors and the hiring manager). Everyone seemed a bit frazzled but welcoming, and had a relatively positive experience overall. Ultimately I was not offered the position, but HR Director reached out to me afterwards saying she'd love to stay in touch for future positions. Very professional all around.
