Amala Duggirala is Regions' Enterprise Chief Operations and Technology Officer and has been named to IBM's list of Women in AI for 2020. She was interviewed for the piece and talks about how Watson Assistant has helped Regions digital assistant "Reggie" handle 22% of customer inquiries end-to-end. Our technology team is doing some pretty amazing things and we are very proud of Amala and her leadership!

The Regions Medical Plan is administered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama and offers two options: Core High Deductible Health Plan and Advantage Plan. In today's economy, it's more important than ever to make the most of your benefit dollars. Comparing both options carefully can help you make an informed decision.
Dental health means much more than healthy teeth -- it is integral to your health and well-being. Dental insurance helps cover the cost of dental care for you and your family. Regions offers comprehensive dental coverage through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama for services ranging from X-rays to routine cleanings, to fillings and orthodontic care.
A routine eye exam can detect simple blurred vision or find a wide range of other diseases that may otherwise go unnoticed until it's too late. For this reason, it is important to schedule regular eye exams for you and your family. Regions offers a voluntary (associate-paid) vision plan through Vision Services Plan (VSP) which covers routine eye exams, eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Flexible Spending Accounts
If you have eligible health care expenses and are on the Advantage Medical Plan or dependent day care expenses, consider participation in the Regions Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). These accounts are simple way to reduce your costs for health care and dependent day care by allowing you to pay for eligible expenses with pre-tax dollars.
Health Savings Account
If you are on the Core High Deductible Health Plan consider participation in the Health Savings Account (HSA). This account allows you to save money for eligible medical expenses to use now or in the future completely, tax-free. The account is yours to take with you, even into retirement.
Life & Disability
Basic & Optional LIfe Insurance
The right amount of life insurance coverage can provide financial security for yourself and your family. Regions provides benefits eligible associates with a basic life benefit at no cost to you. You may also elect Optional life Insurance coverage for yourself, your spouse and/or your children.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment
AD&D insurance is a policy that pays benefits to your beneficiary in the event of death or in the loss of a body part(s) or certain bodily functions (sight, hearing, or speech) due to an accident.
Regions offers a voluntary (associate paid) group legal assistance plan through ARAG which provides professional legal help to protect yourself and your family from legal difficulties. ARAG's network of attorneys provide legal services at reduced fees.
If you are unable to work because of a qualified disability, Regions provides income replacement protection at no cost to you. Coverage includes benefits for both short-term and long-term disability. Pre-existing limitations or other conditions may apply.
Regions 401(k) Plan
The Regions 401(k) Plan offers you an opportunity to save and invest for your retirement years. You can elect to contribute a portion of your eligible pay to the Regions 401(k) Plan upon hire or at anytime while actively employed. Regions provides participants with a matching contribution of 5 percent of your eligible pay beginning the first of the month following your one year anniversary.

Emerging Talent Program
At Regions, the Emerging Talent Program is a career development program designed to refine technical knowledge, enhance personal talents, encourage collaboration and networking and demonstrate Regions values. Entry into the Emerging Talent Program is through either an internship or a full-time, line-of-business-specific development program. Most full-time development program positions will have a one- to two-year rotational aspect.
Joining the Regions Emerging Talent Program as an intern provides you an opportunity to see firsthand the job opportunities and culture Regions offers. As an intern, you will be provided with job skills and training, personal development and networking opportunities throughout a 10-week full time engagement.
If you have already completed an internship or want to jump right into your full-time career, the Emerging Talent Program is designed for you. The development program will provide learning opportunities focused on different career paths with a specific focus. I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Regions Financial (Memphis, TN) in January 2020.
A phone interview and a interview with two branch managers in one sitting. It was very much a normal interview. Mainly focused on AMAZING customer service and an understanding of the position.
