Remedy is partnering with online learning and skills training leader Penn Foster to launch Better WorkLife Academy, making a wide array of free career-focused courses available to its associates. The new initiative was announced by Joanie Courtney, President, Professional Division, EmployBridge.
“We are making a significant investment to underwrite the cost of these courses for our associates for two reasons,” said Courtney. “One is specific to our company: to reinforce our goal to help those who work for and with us to improve their skills, earn higher pay and have better career opportunities to improve their lives. The second reason is aspirational for our country: to partner with a prominent force in the education community to proactively attack the skills gap that continues to hinder the economic recovery.”
Penn Foster, a leading provider of skills development training and credentials for today’s frontline workforce, delivers its courses in a self-paced, competency-based model wrapped by comprehensive academic, professional and personal support and coaching.
The Penn Foster courses, to be offered to associates of most EmployBridge brands in the newly created Better WorkLife Academy, include a mix of administrative, manufacturing and technical offerings. Each course was selected due to relevance in increasing an individual’s pay and improving his or her future job prospects and to help meet the skills needs of today’s most in-demand jobs.

I have been working at Remedy Intelligent Staffing full-time (More than a year)
I can't speak on other branches except Portage, WI branch. I have had good experiences with them. They are very friendly, understanding, and willing to work with any situation. They have always put noticeable effort into finding and placing me with employment. The area I live in is very rural so job placement is not easy to come by but they usually manage to pull something out of their hat for me.
As with employment through any temp agency, the need to report to 2 companies is quite a hassle at times, especially in emergency situations.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Remedy Intelligent Staffing (Saint Charles, MO) in September 2018.
It was quick and easy job the same day. I applied than walk in the office there was one person in head of me. Took about 10min before I was call next.
