I just graduated vocational school as a medical assistant and I’m having a hard time finding a job in the field. Either they’re looking for someone bilingual or with experience if not bilingual. Anyone have any tips as a black women entering a field that’s so demanding of people that are bilingual?
I am a practice manager of 5 different specialty practices. I drive an hour each way to my job. I was told last year and now again this year that I do not qualify for a raise based upon my yearly review. Mind you none of my physicians have made any complaints on me during the calendar year. Only at the end of the year during my review. They did not take into account the other physicians who gave me rave reviews. I feel it is time for me on. What are your thoughts?

I have been a Pharmacy Technician here for 14 years and have grown throughout being here. My Manager’s are amazing as well as my team members. I have also communicated with other workers in other departments and they are friendly and helpful.
