I have been working at Republic Bancorp (KY) full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people, treated respectfully and fairly by management, flexible scheduling, great benefits, fun environment, company gives generously to local charities and to the Louisville arts program, school reimbursement, better than average PTO time off, recently increased wages to being way more competitive and comparable to the big banks, lots of growth potential, lots of opportunities to train in order to be continually promoted through the banking system if you want to, great carrier potential for those who want it, and great low stress options for those looking for steady comfort, quarterly meetings so all employees can voice all opinions and management ACTUALLY listens and makes changes appropriately. My only complaint prior was that the pay was proportionally low compared to other banks, however now as of 2017 the wage increases have made this hands down one of the best gigs in the city of Louisville. The place is a really happy, fun and great place to work. The management truly cares about the employees and it really shows through the attitudes and environment as well as to the customers. That is how you know a bank is really going to be very successful in the long run. It is growing fast and I highly recommend the opportunity to come on board.

    Cons

If they would just extend the time off for paid maturity leave this place would be pitch perfect.

    Advice to Management

    Thanks for being awesome.
