Reputation Institute – Why Work For Us?

Reputation Institute is the world's leading research and advisory firm for reputation. We provide senior communications and marketing executives at global companies the single-best way to measure, communicate and manage reputation performance. With this insight, companies can protect their reputations, analyze risks and drive competitive advantage. We serve clients in more than 400 of the top Global 1,000 companies.

Our founders Charles Fombrun and Cees van Riel started the discipline of reputation management more than two decades ago. Groundbreaking professors specializing in business and corporate communications, they founded Reputation Institute in 1997. Founder Charles Fombrun created the original academic models for measuring reputation — refining them with the launch of Reputation Institute and RepTrak®.

Reputation Institute’s RepTrak® model is the gold standard for reputation measurement, providing a one-of-a-kind appraisal of how the general public views the world’s best-known companies. The RepTrak® database examines 15 stakeholders in more than 25 industries and more than 40 countries for more than 7,000 companies. It's at the heart of all our research, including our National Tracker programs.

Reputation Institute’s research is considered the authoritative source for Corporate Reputation Management by the world’s leading publications, including The Economist,Forbes,FortuneTime,Bloomberg,Information Week, NY Times and the Wall Street Journal. Our industry leaders are regularly sought out and appear in the news and on the radio, for example on NPR, CNBC, Fox Business News, BBC, and CNN. Check out some recent headlines.

Reputation Institute provides an opportunity to work at the forefront of a management discipline – a discipline that we founded. An opportunity to stretch your cognitive abilities among the leadership ranks of the world’s premiere organizations. An opportunity to work with others whose talent, commitment and energy will inspire and challenge you.

We believe in fostering growth both professionally and intellectually. We provide our teams with the support they need to excel and reach their full potential. We seek driven, enthusiastic individuals from a diversity of backgrounds. We are passionate about reputation and hope you are too.

  • "Great product and potential, finally good leadership"

Great product that delivers great results to clients. This has been always at the core. More importantly since the CEO left we have great leadership in the US. The leadership style is engaging, willing to understand what people can and want to do, has experience in this specific business. The restructuring seems now at an end and who is running the business knows what he is doing, facts speak for it.

The culture still seems one where power is considered very important and ego’s come before results. Current leadership though is the opposite so hopefully this will end soon

I applied online. The process took 5+ months. I interviewed at Reputation Institute.

Long process with no formal structure. Met with multiple people one at a time over 5+ months, terrible communication, no decision made, stopped process due to circus... place is a mess
