I have been working at ResCare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good training. Great Regional Manager! Rules are enforced uniformly. Enjoy the work and office hours. ResCare's jobs are all about helping others, and ResCare focuses on giving back to the community.

    Cons

PTO is okay, but not great. We are contracted to the state, but do not get all of the state holidays. Because we are contracted, jobs security highly depends on state contracts. While I feel that our Regional Manager and Deputy Project Manager cares about their employees, the corporate office does not give that impression. ResCare tends to treat their professional office staff like factory workers - micro-managing and "nit-picking" over minor things.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at ResCare (Houston, TX) in June 2017.

    Interview

Met with two team members, great individuals. Warm, welcoming, and answered my questions with honesty. I could see myself being apart of team but unfortunately the salary isn't something a person can live on much less pay the student loans for degree they prefer you to have which I do.
