I have been working at Resource Action Programs full-time (More than a year)

We all work together to produce an excellent product to educate students and create an energy-efficient awareness. Each member of the team is valued. At weekly meetings, we are able to see how individual members contribute to the success of the whole. We are a proud group!
Management is generous and considerate; the lines of communication are always open. Mr. Thrasher, in particular, is patient and level-headed. When mistakes occur, he addresses the employees involved, and considers the "event" a learning experience. All employees work hard for him because he is fair, dedicated, and has a great sense of humor.

Time crunches arise, sometimes at the last minute.

    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took 5+ months. I interviewed at Resource Action Programs (Sparks, NV) in August 2012.

I had two interviews over a long period of time. The first one was with two people -- one from the department and one executive. The questions were unrelated to the job -- pretty much expect them to print off a list of standard questions from the internet. The portfolio review was odd -- they didn't ask any questions. Second interview was similar with the same people (many months later). The "executive" really was really just interested in things like what you are wearing and whether you will have a positive attitude.

    Interview Questions

    • No difficult questions -- they don't know what a graphic designer does.   1 Answer

    No negotiation was allowed.
