About Us

Resurgent Capital Services is a manager and servicer of domestic and international consumer debt portfolios for credit grantors and debt buyers. We manage accounts across the credit spectrum including performing accounts, sub- and non-performing accounts, secured accounts, and unsecured accounts. Our offices are located in Greenville, SC and Cincinnati, OH.

As a loan servicer and licensed collection agency, we may perform collection activities on accounts directly, or we may outsource the recovery activities to other independently owned collection agencies and law firms. If you are not sure which firm is handling your account, please call Resurgent's Customer Service Department at 1-888-665-0374. A Customer Service representative will provide you with the name and phone number of the company handling your account. Resurgent’s Customer Service Department handles traditional customer service issues on behalf of account owners for the accounts placed with us.

Community

Our employees contribute to the community by giving their time and money to many charitable organizations. In 2006 the Resurgent Humanitarian Council ("RHC") was formed for the express purpose of overseeing the charitable giving and volunteer efforts of the employees of Resurgent in Greenville. In Cincinnati, the Community Action Council ("CAC") was formed for the same purpose. 

In fact, Resurgent employees have demonstrated repeatedly that their compassion and desire to be a positive force is not limited to the people they assist or professional relationships they cultivate. They give and participate generously in multiple community service programs including United Way, March of Dimes, Homes of Hope, Habitat for Humanity, Hands On Network, Ronald McDonald House and many others just to name a few.

Both the Council and Committee proudly partner with a variety of other local non-profits as needs are made aware. We support local initiatives and bring about awareness to our employees of community needs. We enjoy collecting donations, sponsoring campaigns and getting hands-on volunteer experience with agencies in the community who need the support.

Through these two committees, we have been able to expand the scope of our volunteer efforts.

Technically speaking, Resurgent Capital Services manages domestic and international debt portfolios. But, if you were to ask any of our employees what we do, you might get a slightly different response.

    Pros

    Resurgent is a forward thinking company that offers a creative and strategic environment for employees to learn and grow. Resurgent offers many perks outside of their job offerings such as a family picnic, holiday party, end of year awards program recognizing the efforts of employees throughout the year, philanthropic opportunities which include bi annual Bikes for Kids and Homes of Hope events, and a positive corporate culture.

    They offer $10 jeans weeks to support local non profit organizations and host several food drives. Resurgent not only gives back to the community monetarily but also is a community partner through volunteer hours with programs like the Greenville Library System, Meals on Wheels, Meyer Center for Special Children, and many others!

    This company has been the best I've worked for, I enjoy coming to work on Mondays and feel like my job is impactful and I'm able to learn and grow within my position.

    They sit you down and go over the basics of teamwork, past experiences, What have you done in this situation or that certain situation, how did you handle past disagreements with workers/clients, etc. Standard. A bit laid-back but still professional. I would still dress to impress, regardless of how the interviewers might look.
