Work With Purpose

Our Marketing positions include Digital Marketing StrategistsLocal Listing Specialists and other Operational Support positions which primarily manage the relationship between Revlocal and the client. They communicate the value of our products and assist our clients in increasing their return of investment (ROI). As the main point of contact for our clients, the Strategists work with our internal specialists to set strategy and deliver effective and timely results. 


Some may say that what we do is not real marketing.  If you dream of doing social media on Facebook for Nike then you probably wont enjoy our brand of marketing.  Customer service is essential to providing value to a hard working small business owner.  They are difficult to deal with, don't always understand technology or online marketing techniques and struggle with trust. Yep, this is exactly why we are passionate about helping them.  In our view, providing marketing value to SMBs involves innovative strategies, basic executation and good old fashioned customer service.

Successful strategists manage multiple clients at once in specific industries with the ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, prioritze tasks, analyze data, and change focus quickly from one client to another as needed. Adult recess at its best!  We work hard - we play hard.  Once a month RevLocal has a special recess session planned by RevLocal's own.  Past recesses have included food truck Friday, sporting events and competitions, board game tournaments, movie matenee and our favorite coloring book competitions.

Thought leadership at RevLocal is a collection of unique perspectives and skills coupled with world-class residual training.  Every Digital Marketing Strategist has the opportunity to particpate in Sandbox session that help inspire an innovative culture of continuous product and service improvement.  Our culture breathes knowledge and the distribution of knowledge; from employees to customers to the industry itself.


HEALTH & WELLNESS PROGRAM

RevLocal's Corporate Headquarters has a complete work-out facility with lockerrooms and showers. Employees can participate in free Yoga classes, group bootcamps and many enjoy the walking and running track around our award-winning campus.  RevLocal supports healthy living through creating a positive working environment.  Our cafeteria is a great place to socialize during lunch.  We also have a volunteer Wellness Committee called Revive.  

Outside of work our family environment has created several active groups.  RevLocal sponsors an indoor soccer team, made up of only RevLocal employees.  This is a picture of a group from RevLocal participating in a Tuff Mudder competition.

    I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at RevLocal in September 2017.

    Interview

    Received an email one day after applying for the position, inviting me for a 30 minute phone interview. Scheduled the date/time through their website job portal, and received a confirmation.

    On the day of the phone interview, the recruiter called 10 minutes late, citing the reason that she and her boss were having a "one-on-one meeting that went over...we're both talkers (laughs)."

    I was then asked what positions I was most interested in, and given details regarding the difference between the Local Search Strategist and Outside Sales Representative. Their Outside Sales Representative position sounded interesting initially, but is a cold-calling, create-your-own leads system.

    After expressing interest in the Local Search Strategist position instead, I was asked a few more questions and my salary requirements. Salary seems particularly low as compared to similar jobs/companies.
