Reval was founded in 1999 to bring an Internet technology solution to corporate treasury. Today, it is recognized globally for its deep expertise and award-winning Software-as-a-Service solution for treasury and risk management.

Where we work

Reval's headquarters are located in the heart of New York City. We maintain regional centers in Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and international operations in Toronto, London, Sydney, Hong Kong, Germany, and Gurgaon (India). As we continue to grow, new locations will be added to the worldwide Reval map.

About our culture

Work hard together. Play hard together. That’s the Reval credo. There’s an esprit de corps that results from a truly collegial atmosphere. This environment contributes significantly to the intellectual energy that powers much of our work. You have considerable autonomy to handle the job in a way that best uses your skills. And you work with others because collaboration tends to produce better results.

At Reval, we enjoy working together. The results show.

We also like to give back to the community. In New Orleans during a recent Reval User Group forum, we were pleased to contribute to the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, which focuses on “improving the quality of young people’s lives.” And in New York, Reval employees held team competitions collecting 5,000 canned food goods to help stock the shelves for the Food Bank For New York City.

Rotational Development Program

The REVAL Rotational Development Program (RDP) allows undergraduates and graduates the opportunity to rotate positions within departments based on individual development needs over a period of six to twelve months. The goal of this program is for the selected candidate to gain a better understanding of Reval’s business, financial markets, and customers’ needs. Senior managers at Reval mentor each candidate during this program, and his/her performance is reviewed periodically.

This program is designed for undergraduates and recent graduates.

I worked at Reval full-time (Less than a year)

    1. Mostly positive vibe and professional environment.
    2. Management was interested in developing young talent
    3. Mostly good people to work with

There was a disconnect between senior management and lower tiered managers. Senior managers were well-intentioned to develop young talent, but often, a filter existed between senior managers and the young talent that left the effectiveness of the decisions to junior managers (who a mostly well-intentioned as well).

    Advice to Management

Given that it's been so long, my hope is that the disconnect has changed.
Ill-intentioned junior managers (however few) can deter talent and lead to ineffective implementation of business plan.

I applied online. I interviewed at Reval (New York, NY).

Very straightforward with typical phone screening followed by in-person interviews with the whole team. Given that it's a smaller company, you meet with higher ups as well so be prepared for that. The only thing to note is the DNA interview. You'll be asked a series of extremely specific fit questions.

    Interview Questions

    • "Tell me about a time you showed xyz"
"Tell me about a project you did well on, one you didn't do well on"
      "What is your proudest accomplishment"
Was also asked some technical questions to make sure I knew the basics, but nothing intense or overly hard   Answer Question
