I have been working at Revolutionary Security full-time (Less than a year)

People that work here see themselves as helping companies that operate in critical infrastructure spaces defend themselves from cybersecurity threats. That's what's motivates us. All the employees I work with have a strong "do what's right for the client" ethos, even if that means recommending a solution that leads to less billable hours for us. That's a great thing to see as a company. People are insanely positive and supportive.

    Great benefits.
    Overall good work life balance
Supportive management that sees you as a human.
Because it's a small company, get to interact with senior management on a more regular basis, and they have all been great to work with.

Travel time is not billable, so you spend time in the airport and at other times on your trip trying to perform billable work. That's not always easy if the work is technical and/or requires a decent internet connection. Can be draining when you have a hectic travel day. It's still less hours per week on average though than people I've talked to at other consulting/contracting companies. Management is understanding if it's too challenging to make up those hours due to extenuating circumstances.

They make sure what you put on your resume is true. Be truthful! there is nothing wrong with not being super strong in a subject but dont claim to be an expert if you are not
