Ro Reviews

Pros
At Ro we have the opportunity to take on truly thorny and challenging problems in healthcare alongside a truly intelligent, motivated and passionate group of colleagues. We're taking on complexity to help make it easier and more efficient for our members to navigate the healthcare system on their own terms. That means the problem spaces we are attacking are new and novel, and we have a real opportunity to lead and break through with new services in a market leading way. Such opportunities are rare in any space, and that opportunity motivates me an gets me excited about the work we have ahead and my opportunity to keep growing and learning here.
Cons
We are a distributed organization (not always in office) which can make communication and coordination more challenging at times. This really means that everyone here does need to over index on thoroughness of communication, and in particular non-verbal/async communication -- which can be a challenge for some.

Interview
Straightforward interview process albeit a little lengthy imho. Met with my potential manager as a first step, then met with them again in the onsite, along with a potential hiring manager, a peer recruiter, and another recruiting manager. (4 30 min interviews in the onsite round). There was also a final leadership round where I met with the Director of TA and Chief People Officer for 30 min each. The final round conversations were much more casual/less structured.InterviewTell me about a time you used data to influence your stakeholders?
