I have been working at Road & Rail Services (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are managers who want to help teams succeed, other managers are just there for a paycheck.

    Cons

Lots of discussion about upward mobility, not a lot of development to help you do that.

    Advice to Management

Focus on developing talent, push those that don't care out the door. Dead weight is holding the company back.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Road & Rail Services (Spartanburg, SC).

    Interview

Called two days after applying. Seemed extremely unprofessional and evasive as interviews were not held on-site and simple questions were not answered. When asked why such high turnover as this position had been posted several times within a year the answer was not sufficient nor made any sense. If you are going to interview someone perhaps one should not hold it in a hotel lobby or a fast food restaurant. Poor insurance/benefits explained, a 401(k) with no match, no vision insurance offered, just several red flags. Questions asked by first and second co. reps were few and beyond basic.
