Mission: Changing Science. Changing Lives.
Highly engaged employees who are making a difference in the community and the world. Opportunities for leadership outside of your area, with a parent company that truly cares about their employees. The benefits of both a start-up and a large organization, with a phenomenal benefit package.
The flip side of being part of a huge organization is that disconnects do occur. There are times that global processes and policies are applied, even when they don't fit.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you are doing. It's a fantastic place to work, and much of that is the result of having a leadership team who truly cares about the people of the company
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Roche NimbleGen in January 2013.
Applied on-line. Was called by HR for an initial phone screen. Subsequently had panel type interview on-site with: potential peers, upper management and hiring manager. Felt the interview went well, had positive interactions with the panel. Not too tough, general behavioral based questions. People were pleasant and explained their current situations including limitations and issues that are present within the organization. Was contacted after the interview in order to consent to a background check. Background check was performed successfully but haven't heard anything back yet, after 2 weeks.
