    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Room to Read full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The mission at Room to Read is simple, yet powerful: world change starts with educated children. The new CEO is brilliant and motivated to grow the impact that we have worldwide. The staff here are great - it's a collaborative group of people who work hard, but still bring joy to the workplace every day.

    Cons

It's a non-profit and budgets are constrained. With 1600 staff worldwide, it's sometimes difficult to communicate globally. Many staff are out in the field teaching at schools in rural areas, so getting information broadly disseminated can be a challenge.

    Advice to Management

Evaluate processes and eliminate the ones that are no longer needed.
