Mission: At Rooms To Go, our mission is to provide the best product and service possible to our customers, to create an environment that supports the career goals, financial needs, and health and wellness of our team members, to continue to foster our industry leading recycling program ...
Rooms To Go is dedicated to providing our customers a better way to shop through innovation, fast delivery, first-rate service, honesty and integrity. We offer a comfortable, friendly work environment and tremendous growth opportunities. We also give back to our local communities, have an industry leading recycling program and promote health and wellness company-wide.
Sales Associates are paid a competitive rate, based not on the dollar amount that they sell, but by the product. This way, a sales associate is never penalized for selling a room package or items on sale. We don’t believe our sales associates should pay for our advertising. Our support staff and management are paid a competitive market rate based on skills, experience, education and performance. We also have the opportunity for incentive bonuses.

I have been working at Rooms To Go full-time (More than 8 years)
Opportunity for advancement, great workplace environment, endless earning potential and training opportunities. Rooms To Go is also very stable company.
If there were any con's it would be that all employees are required to work retail hours, which includes holidays and weekends.
Advice to Management
Continue helping sales associates to reach their full potential through ongoing support, incentives and training.
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Rooms To Go (Seffner, FL) in April 2017.
This was a one on one interview. The questions were mainly about my experience. The interviewer did not seem interested in how I got to this point and did not ask about the gaps in my job history. No offer was made and I heard exactly nothing back, although I was told "we will be in touch". The job has since been reposted on their website. One thing I would say to interviewers is PLEASE follow up. We take the time (some of us take time off from work!) to come and interview with you, the least you could do is to let us know when we did not get the job instead of leaving us hanging.
