Interview
As someone who has done hundreds of telephone screenings, I found this one to be very impersonal, with what seemed to be computer-generated questions. It felt like speaking to a robot, with questions that were vaguely tied to the role. Some questions were essay-style questions asked over the phone. It seemed like poor use of phone time. I would be surprised if they gleaned any relevant information from any of the candidates with this interview style.
If this company were to choose to continue with this style of questioning, I would recommend that the answers be provided in written form, or that they be provided in an advance. I would personally recommend they change the phone screening to a more informal, get-to-know-you style, with some technical questions added in.InterviewTell me about yourself
